Author: Bret Gordon ![]() I have to admit that this latest post from Dale Dugas has me scratching my head. He asserts that I create fake rank certificates for a living, among other things. My first question is what fake rank certificates does he think I am creating, and more importantly, what living does he think I'm making off it? The only types of certificates I have issued have been:
So, I ask again, what fake rank certificates am I creating? All of my students are fully aware of where their students come from and in what art they are being certified. We can debate continuously the validity of newly created systems, but if the student understands what they are studying, it is not fraudulent.
Of course, that brings us to the bigger accusation that I defend child rapists. This heinous accusation has already been addressed ad nauseum, but let me state yet again that I categorically and unequivocally condemn any sort of violence against children! This baseless accusation stems from a former affiliation to Patrick Justice, whom I have only met in person once in Ohio, and once I became aware of his criminal past he was expelled from the organization we both belonged to. I have already taken full responsibility for the oversight of removing him from our organization's website for several years, but this in no way means I condone, support, or defend his crimes or ANY form of violence against children. Furthermore, we've already sued Dale Dugas for defamation and libel after his accusations of our support of child rape, where he was placed in judicial default after failing to appear for a mandatory hearing (a virtual meeting, mind you), and was sanctioned by the court for destroying evidence. You would think if he felt so strongly about it and actually believed this vitriol, that he'd want to share it all in a court of law instead of from behind a keyboard...
